The Difference between Living at Home and in the Dormitory (Revise 2)

I live in Hsin-Chuang, Taipei County now, because my school, NTUST is in Taipei City, I live at home with my family. In my opinion, there are many differences between living at home and in the dormitory. First, the dormitory is defined as “the residence of students ”, because in senior high or university, somebody’s residence is far from their school, they can live in the school dormitory or near the school, because it is more convenient for students. Relatively, the home is defined as “the residence of relatives”, the functions of home is that if people have difficulties, you can find some helps toward your family.
Secondly, if you have no courses in the morning, you can get up at 11 or 12 o'clock when you live in the dormitory. But living at home, you can not do this, parents may think that you are sick, so usually about seven o'clock, they would wake you up until you get up. Thirdly, in the dormitory, the speed of Internet is very fast. You can play PC games, such as Blizzard and CS, and have a lot of funs from playing games. At home, sometimes you can not connect to the Internet. Final, you have to learn how to live alone in the dormitory, and get along with your roommates. To Sum up, living at home is better than living in the dormitory because I am affected by others easily although it is very fun. But in my opinion, both of them have different benefits.

Conrad hits a grand slam to help Braves win

http://tw.sports.yahoo.com/article/aurl/d/a/100521/13/510y.html

I think that the news is incredible and dramatic. It says that a pinch hitter, Brooks Conrad, of the Atlanta Braves, he had just hit a walk-off pinch-hit grand slam to complete the largest ninth-inning comeback in Braves, for a 10-9 victory against the Reds. The comeback was the largest in franchise history, marked only the 23rd time in baseball history that a walk-off grand slam overcame a three-run deficit and was only the second time it was done by a pinch-hitter.
But the Reds’ left fielder, Laynce Nix felt very upset. The ball hit the webbing of Nix's glove, but only on its way to ricocheting off the yellow line on top of the left-field wall and over the fence. Conrad didn’t see that part. He had thrust his arms to the back of his helmet in disgust and twisted around toward the Braves dugout. After reading the news, I just know that there is no absolute victory in sports, I also get some messages from the news, “everything is never as it seems.”

Why did I choose CE?(Section 3)

Why did I choose CE? I am majoring in chemical engineering in National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST). Why did I choose chemical engineering? There are several reasons. First, I wanted to be a doctor when I was a child. But my scores were not good enough to study medical science. So I obeyed my parents' suggestion to study in senior vocational school. Then, I chose to study in chemical engineering, because it has more work opportunities than others.
Second reason, in the first grade of senior high, I thought that chemistry was a difficult and profound subject. It makes me felt very frustrated . Therefore, I decided to find some help. One of my classmates was good at chemistry, and he was nice and kind. Soon after, my chemical has improved a lot. With the help of my classmate, I started to be interested in chemistry. Third reason, I was very interested in chemical elements and molecules. I think that these substances are important for our life, and I want to devise a chemical product. I like DIY, so I like doing experiment.
After graduating from senior high school, I was admitted to the department of CE in NTUST. There are many superior facilities and the masters in the school. Most of my time has been spent in doing experiments. They were very dangerous, so I always approach them with care, I got a lot of accomplishments from them. I am very happy in the department of CE with my classmates. I have learned many things in this department.
